Edward Hemingway is the youngest grandson of the Nobel Prize winning writer Ernest Hemingway.

He received his bachelor's degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and his master's from the School of Visual Arts.

His writing and illustrations have appeared in Nickelodeon Magazine, GQ, Gourmet, The New York Times and more.

Bump in the Night is his first children's book. His second children's book, Bad Apple, will be published by Penguin Putnam in 2009. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
